Carolina Artists

Carolina Artists was formed in 1990 by working artists for the express purpose of providing more opportunities for local artists to be recognized within the central Carolina community.

Center for Faith & the Arts

The mission of Center for Faith & the Arts is to enrich religious faith by way of the high arts and to promote appreciation of the high arts in light of religious faith. The Center understands faith as the way we respond to life on the basis of what we believe. Thus, the Center works to strengthen the character and sense of shared humanity in the communities it serves.

Carolina Baroque

Carolina Baroque was organized by Dale Higbee in 1988 for the purpose of performing music of the Baroque period (c. 1600-1750) on instruments familiar to Monteverdi, Purcell, Buxtehude, Vivaldi, Telemann, J. S. Bach, and Handel during this Golden Age of Music.

Fine Frame Gallery

Located in Historic Downtown Salisbury, North Carolina, the Fine Frame Gallery specializes in local and regional artists, and professional framing.

Green Goat Gallery

Located in historic Spencer, NC, across from the North Carolina Transportation Museum, the gallery showcases local and regional artists.

Looking Glass Art Collective

The LGAC was founded in March 2008 to provide an opportunity for creative people of Salisbury N.C. , to share space, resources and ideas.  Members include visual artists, musicians, actors, writers, dancers and others.  The LGAC facility is located in the Rail Walk Arts District on N. Lee Street.

North Carolina Arts Council

The mission of the Arts Council is to make North Carolina a better state through the arts. The Arts Council provides technical assistance, information resources, and over 1,000 grants each year to nonprofit organizations and artists.

NOMA—North of Main Neighborhood Association

Quickly becoming a haven for painters, photographers, chefs, doctors, preservationists, lawyers, teachers, musicians, actors, writers, environmentalists, and shop owners ~ we cherish our historic architecture, our diversity, and our proximity to Salisbury's galleries, museums, restaurants, shops, and parks.

Plein Air Carolina

An organization of artists who meet
regularly to paint on location at various
sites throughout the Piedmont of North
Carolina. PAC was formed in November
2005 and is home based at the
Waterworks Visual Arts Center in
Salisbury,  North Carolina.

Rowan Arts Council

Provides opportunities for Rowan County organizations, individuals, and activities that advocate arts and culture. Its signature event is the annual Art on Easy Street arts festival.

Rowan Blues and Jazz Society

Our story begins like this… “once upon a time in a Piedmont town in North Carolina the first Blues & Jazz Jam was organized with the assistance of several local musicians, business sponsors, the United Arts Council of Rowan and other Blues and Jazz Enthusiasts of Salisbury, NC.

Rowan County Concert Association

St. Thomas Players

The St. Thomas Players debuted in 1996 with the staging of Jean-Paul Sartre's No Exit. Since then, the Players, although nominally an amateur troupe, have gained a reputation for professional-quality productions.
